This Brooklyn substation is a new construction, below-grade vault to house electrical equipment for the MTA in Bushwick, NY. The project had a very high water table and required a full waterproofing assembly on all sides of the exterior of the building.
Due to its critical nature for both form and function, this project required a third-party QA/QC site monitoring program. Our role was to work closely with the construction manager, owner’s representative, MTA and sub-contractors.
